DOORS 1D 39 VACUUM DOOR LOCK DIAGNOSIS 35 36 38 48000 SERIES L Lockts inoperative with front Door valve vacuum supply hose Check for pinched hose of affected door closed but operates with pinched at front body hinge pillar Iloor at conduit door open on side affected M Door selector valve leaks Pinch vacuum supply hose Red Replace affected selector valve at affected valve lf air leak stops valve is defective IMPORTANT lf selector valve leaks first tiehten screws on back of valve then recheck valve lf valve continues to leak replace valve assembly 4 N Storage tank leaks Turn engine off and disconnect Replace vacuum storage tank manifold to storage tank supply hose at tank check valve then pinch storage tank to remote valve supply hose Actuate either door lock selector to equalize pressure in balance of system It air continues to leak tank is defective O Actuator assembly inoperative Connect hose or check for pinched Replace actuator assembly hose at front door hinge pillar conduit HE at rear door hinge pillar conduit H or at remote control valve B then actuate d o n r lock selector valve lf actuator does not operate actua tor is defective P Remote valve leaks Check remote valve for pinched Replace remote control valve or disconnected hosets If bal assembly ance of system is checked and found to be in satisfactory condi tion replace remote valve with new part It system then operates properly original remote valve was detective
