The Chevrolet Parts Exchange Plan provides for invoicing and crediting Dealers for the exchange value of parts included in this plan The appli cable Dealer Exchange Charge is invoiced on each shipment of new exchange parts offsetting Dealer Exchange Credit for used exchange parts is issued when Parts specified as subject to return to GMPD Warehouse are received and Parts specified as subject to scrapping at the Dealer s Place of Business are reported to Chevrolet Motor Division in accordance with the prescribed plan The foot notes of the Exchange Parts Groups in this schedule specify the parts that are included in each of the above two classifications Form GSD 62 Exchange Parts Return is available from the Chevrolet Zone Office for the use of Dealers when returning used exchange parts to the GMPD Warehouse These parts may be shipped on a freight collect basis and Chevrolet Motor Division will pay the freight on one return ship ment per month Dealers are to scrap parts eligible for this type of exchange credit in the presence and under the supervision of a Chevrolet Motor Division representative Form GSD 61 Exchange Parts Scrap Memorandum will be filled out and signed by the Chevrolet representative The original copy bearing the Dealer s signature is to be forwarded to the Chevrolet Zone Office by the representative The duplicate will be left with the Dealer as a file copy pending receipt of credit Complete instructions for the use of Forms GSD 62 Exchange Parts Return and GSD 6l Exchange Parts Scrap Memorandum are printed on the reverse side of these forms The plan and the amount of exchange credits may be changed by Chevrolet Motor Division at its option at any time and without notice The current credit in effect at the time parts are scrapped shall apply REVISED JANUARY 1 1959 424 PBA 26
